Geographic Area Query Page - Sections 104/114
How to Query by Geographic Area
- The yellow lines delineate 1:250,000 map sheet boundaries and
each sheets numeric designation appears in red numbers.
- The map in this screen is a more detailed view of the requested
1:250,000 map sheet. This is not a clickable image.
- Enter either a LATITUDE/LONGITUDE range or 1:250,000 map sheet
designation and click the "Query" button.
- Use the "Query" button to execute the query. Using
the ENTER key will not execute the query.
- Be sure to use capital letters for the map sheet letter (i.e..
94A).
Query Results
- Results from the query will be displayed in a table format listing:
Project ID, NTS Map Sheet, Latitude, Longitude, Survey Year, Soil
Classification and Soil Name.
- Click on any of the listed sample sites in the Project ID field
to receive more detailed information about that Site and its Soil
Horizons.
- Additional data about individual Soil Horizons are clickable
blue highlights.
- Attributes include depths, fragments, texture, etc.
