Available Map Products
Maps are available in two formats: Adobe (.pdf) and plot file (.plt). Adobe files are meant to be printed on an 11x17 sheet. They can be viewed by clicking on the thumbnail image and printed through Adobe Reader. Plot files are zipped and should be saved to your local drive prior to plotting. Sheet size for 1:75000 and 1:35000 maps is 46 x 35 inches. Sheet size for 1:5000 maps is 23 x 36 inches.
The Ministry of Sustainable Resource Management (MSRM) accepts no responsibility for the accuracy or content of the data shown on these maps. Data is compiled from numerous sources and the most recent digital files may or may not be stored at MSRM.
Please note that the files below can be quite large. The vector maps range from 1-2 MB for the PDF files and .5-1.2 MB for the plot files. The Orthophoto maps are another story. The PDF versions are approximately 10MB and the plot files range from 12-15MB. Remember that a 56kps modem takes up an hour to download 10MB. Actual file sizes are shown when you hold your mouse over the image without clicking on it.
